Sulaiman holds a bachelor’s and PhD degree in computer science, with his thesis topic being ICSrank: A Security Assessment Framework for Industrial Control Systems (ICS). He has contributed significantly to the ICS community by inventing and developing a risk scoring system to rank ICS vulnerabilities, which he calls ICSrank. His system is tailored specifically for ICS, and he continues to conduct research and practical projects on ICS cyber security.
Sulaiman Alhasawi runs his own YouTube channel called “ICS Arabia“, which focuses on cyber security and ICS. He interviews IT and ICS security specialists from around the world and provides tutorials and guides on ICS security on his channel and his blog.
Sulaiman Alhasawi is a well-respected speaker in the cyber security community and has participated in many conferences, including The 1st Kuwait Hackers Conference , OWASP Kuwait chapter , the Kaspersky Industrial Cybersecurity Conference 2022 in Sochi, Russia and the CGSC 2023 Conference in Kuwait.
